Amitabh Bachchan Didn’t Tweet For Brahmastra Release Due To Boycott Controversy?

His cryptic tweets have been taken as a response to the boycott of recently released films.

Prominent actor, Amitabh Bachchan, also called Big B, has an enormous social media presence. He often tweets according to serial numbers and posts late at night too. Amid all this are his enigmatic tweets as the movies continue to get released either in theatres or on OTT (Over-the-top).

Many popular figures have faced outrage from Netizens over their old tweets or statements. Ranbir Kapoor became the victim of it before the release of Brahmastra. Laal Singh Chaddha, Raksha Bandhan failed at the box-office amid the boycott calls.

Taking to Twitter a few weeks ago, Amitabh said, Kuch baatein karne ka mann karta hai, par karein toh kaise karen, har baat toh aajkal baat ban jati hai.” (I feel like speaking about some things, but how to do it, everything becomes a matter these days).” He indicated everything is blown out of proportion while sharing his desire to speak up.

His cryptic tweets have been taken as a response to the boycott of recently released films. Notably, he tweeted about the Goodbye film starring him; however, he didn’t post or tweet about the mega film Brahmastra that too stars him.

“T 4406 – The #Goodbye family has paved its way into everyone’s heart! ❤️
#GoodbyeTrailer crosses 25 million views & counting🤞 Watch the trailer here: bit.ly/Goodbye-Trailer. #Goodbye releasing in cinemas near you on 7th October 2022. #GoodbyeOnOct7,” tweeted Amitabh.

Did the boycott calls on social media make him not tweet about the film or will he post now after witnessing its success on the opening day? Time will answer all these questions.

Meanwhile, the veteran actor wrapped up shooting for his next project Unchai starring Anupam Kher, Parineeti Chopra, and Boman Irani. He will next be seen in Goodbye releasing on October 7, 2022.
