Bollywood has seen many sports films in the past. While some of these films were iconic hit like Aamir Khan’s Lagaan whereas some films hid in the shadows. While we talk about sports films, we will have to mention the biopics made around these sportsmen. Some such films like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Dangal, Mary Kom, among others made a special place in people’s heart. On the other hand, biopics including Soorma, Azhar, Sachin, etc couldn’t make their place into the hit film list.
Well, when we thought this topic is done to death, another sports biopic is ready to hit the big screens with some extremely big names as actors, director and producers.
Let us shatter your monumental expectations here, and let you know that there is nothing new this film is going to offer. As far as the authenticity of the sports is concerned, it’s lost somewhere in terms of story and narration.
In the time when digital platforms are exploring so much and working hard to bring versatile contents, it seems Bollywood filmmakers have nothing new to offer to their audiences.
We are not wrong if we say that the overall film is below par and it will be a big disappointment & sports enthusiasts will find it a big letdown.
