The highly anticipated comedy entertainer of the year, Dream Girl 2, is all set to release on July 7, 2023. The film is a sequel to the hit 2019 movie Dream Girl, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role. The sequel promises to be bigger and better than its predecessor, with Ayushmann Khurrana set to entertain audiences with a double role.
Dream Girl 2 features Ayushmann Khurrana not only in the role of Karam but also as Pooja, a character he portrayed in the first movie. The film also features an impressive ensemble cast, including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Vijay Raaz, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee and Manjot Singh in significant roles.
The film’s shooting is currently underway, and Ananya Pandey recently shared a glimpse of a late-night shoot of a song from the movie’s sets on her Instagram story. Ananya can be seen flaunting her sparkling bangles, and a shining stage can be spotted behind her, along with some crew members. The location of the song shoot is unknown, but the set looks charming and starry, promising a visual treat for audiences. Ananya posted a story on her instagram handle and wrote, “Shiny Shiny Night Song Shoots #Dreamgirl2.”
Dream Girl 2 is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, who also directed the first movie. The film promises to be a laughter riot with Ayushmann Khurrana’s double role and an impressive cast of talented actors known for their comic timing.
