Anil Kapoor and son Harshvardhan Kapoor, are set to star in Abhinav Bindra biopic. Earlier in 2017, Harshvardhan announced the film, on his social media account and wrote, “Beginnings are very special. Especially when you get to play a character that has made the nation proud on the world stage. I am stoked to have been chosen to play #AbhinavBindra and hopefully will do justice to the man, the legend! Like the man himself said, ‘Hard Work is a talent.’ #LetsDoThis.”
However, there were no updates since then, there were even rumors that the film was shelved. Yet putting a full stop of the routers, Anil Kapoor shared an update saying that the project was on track and will go on floor soon.
Anil will be seen playing Bindra’s father, he took to his social media on Sunday to share the news that the prep has begun on the film.
The actor wrote “The Beginning,” while striking a pose with Harshvardhan and Bindra.

According to the information, the film is adapted from Abhinav Bindra’s autobiography – ‘A Shot at History: My Obsessive Journey to Olympic Gold and Beyond’.
