Bollywood star Anil Kapoor is all set to helm the role of a police officer in Mohit Suri‘s Malang. The trailer of the film is already out and it shows him in shades of grey.
Talking about his character in the film the actor said that his character in the film is that of an unconventional cop who’s driven to achieve his mission. He said that it was quite difficult for him to get in the skin of the character.
Anil had to shade some kilos to justify the look. He also did some changes in his hairstyle and got a temporary tattoo. He also added that this is a kind of role that will remain with him for a long time.
Anil will be seen alongside actor Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu in the film. Anil in the trailer launch event expressed that he initially wanted to do Kunal Kennu’s character in the film.
“I first heard the script, I wanted to do Kunal’s role. He has done a brilliant job with the role now but I wanted to do that one. Mohit, Luv (Ranjan, producer) and all of them wanted me to do this character of Agashe,” he said.
Malang is scheduled to be released on February 7, 2020.
