Anil Kapoor has stepped into one of the most high-profile commercial films currently being assembled. Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that Kapoor has joined Salman Khan and Nayanthara in producer Dil Raju and director Vamshi Paidipally’s untitled action drama, adding another heavyweight presence to a film already carrying serious star value.
The project had already sparked interest for pairing Salman Khan with Nayanthara, while also bringing together Dil Raju’s production scale and Vamshi Paidipally’s mainstream storytelling instincts for a Hindi action drama mounted on a large canvas.

Kapoor’s arrival adds a distinct layer of authority and experience to the ensemble. Few actors in Hindi cinema have moved as fluently as he has between emotional dramas, stylish thrillers, and full-scale theatrical entertainers, which makes his casting especially significant in a film built around mass appeal.
Trade updates now place the film on track to go on floors in April 2026, with the makers eyeing a 2027 theatrical release. The title remains under wraps, but the package has already made it one of the most closely watched projects in development.
