Ankita Lokhande is a big name in television. However, when she entered Bollywood she only got supporting roles in films like Manikarnika and Baaghi 3.
Well, now according to the recent update the actress has signed a big film already as a central character.
A source was quoted as saying, “Ankita will play the main role in Iti, the murder mystery that Prenaa Arora had announced last year. The film is about a girl who has to solve her own murder. When the makers were scouting for a good performer, they spoke to Ankita who also loved the role. She has already agreed to be part of the film and the shooting was supposed to begin this month in Shimla. But, the Covid second wave has now delayed plans now.”
Directed by Vishal Ranjan Mishra, who has previously helmed films Coffee With D (2017) and Hotel Milan (2018) Iti will be Ankita’s third Bollywood film. Iti will be produced by the actor’s banner Oberoi Mega Entertainment, Mandiraa Entertainment and Girish Johar. It is creatively backed by Prernaa Arora.
