Actor Ajay Devgn is preparing to reprise his role as a cop, but this time for his first online series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. Ajay is well-known for his roles as cops onscreen, whether as officer Bajirao in Singham or Superintendent Amit Kumar in Gangaajal. Fans of the star will be able to see the star’s intense and fierce avatar in a brand new online programme. In addition, on Friday, January 28, the series’ makers shared some exciting news with all Ajay Devgn fans.

Tomorrow will see the release of the trailer for this new online series. Rudra: The Edge of Darkness appears to be a story involving a murder, with Ajay attempting to track down the perpetrator, based on the poster. Last year, the Hotstar Specials series went into production, and it was shot in some of Mumbai’s most renowned locations. Now, while making the trailer release announcement, the makers said, “Crime is officially out of time. #HotstarSpecials #Rudra – Trailer out tomorrow only on @disneyplushotstar #RudraTrailerTomorrow #RudraOnHotstar.”

Apart from Ajay, Raashii Khanna and Esha Deol will be seen essaying pivotal roles in the series. Reportedly, the premise of the show is based on the British TV show namely, Luther.
