Saroj Khan, an ace Bollywood choreographer, died of cardiac arrest on July 3. Now, we’ve learned that a biopic of the famed choreographer is in the works, and it’ll be financed by T-Series. T-Series’ official Twitter account recently revealed that they had purchased certain rights and will be producing a biopic on Saroj Khan.
The official statement read, ‘Bhushan Kumar’s T-series announces biopic on legendary choreographer Saroj Khan. Bhushan recently acquired rights to her life story from Saroj Khan’s children Raju Khan, Sukaina Khan and daughter of Hina Khan.’
The statement was backed with a tweet that read, “We’re glad to announce that we’ve acquired the rights to the legendary choreographer, Saroj Khan’s life story. Stay tuned! #BhushanKumar #SarojKhan #TSeries @TSeries #RajuKhan #SukainaKhan #HinaKhan.”

Following Khan’s unfortunate death, choreographer-turned-director Remo D’souza claimed that he wanted to make a film about her because it was the late choreographer’s wish.
“We had a long conversation and she said, “kabhi mere upar biopic koi banaye, to tu hi banana, kyunki tu dance aur struggle do hi samajhta hai (if someone were to make by biopic, you do it because you know the struggle as well as dance’,” Remo told IANS.
