Anurag Kashyap Blasts Boycott Gang As Unemployed Bots, UP government Hypocrite & Vivek Agnihotri As Attention Seeker & Pathetic Director

Anurag Kashyap’s latest release Dobaaraa starring Taapsee Pannu has massively tanked at the box office. The film has been trending on social media for a long time but for all the wrong reasons as it is the recent boycott subject for netizens on Twitter.

Anurag also calls the Yogi-led UP government hypocritical for not providing Aanand L. Rai with a subsidy for Mukkabaaz, despite the fact that Anurag received payment for the film and Aanand L. Rai was invited to participate in official events and received a subsidy for his earlier movies.

Anurag further stated that he doesn’t give a damn about the boycott gang’s activities because they are made up of worthless cretins and no matter how many people boycott, the films would still be found on OTT.

He claimed that the majority of his movies were found outside of theaters, therefore he doesn’t understand the drama.

Anurag also made fun of Vivek Agnihotri, claiming that he is attention-seeking and that when he wrote his Dhan Dhan Dhanadan Goal, he was aware that Vivek wasn’t a good filmmaker.

Take a look at his full interview with India TV here:

Meanwhile, Dobaaraa is jointly produced by Ektaa Kapoor’s Cult Movies, a new division under Balaji Telefilms, and Sunir Kheterpal and Gaurav Bose’s banner Athena. The film was billed as an edgy thriller, the movie also stars Pavail Gulati and Rahul Bhat but failed miserably at the box office.
