Earlier, there were speculations that Arshad Warsi will be joining the cast of Bhumi Pednekar starrer Durgavati. Today, the official announcement has been made.
Arshad Warsi took to social media to share the news. He wrote, ” Excited to have joined the stellar cast and crew of #Durgavati today. Looking forward to a thrilling ride!”
The film is a production by Bhushan Kumar, Akshay Kumar, and Vikram Malhotra. Durgavati is an official Hindi remake of Telugu horror film Bhaagamathie. The original film was lead by Anushka Shetty which was out and out horror. The story of the film revolves around a woman imprisoned in a haunted house while being interrogated in a corruption case.
