They returned to India in 1934, where Himanshu Rai established a production studio named Bombay Talkies, partnering with certain other people. Bombay Talkies was a legendary film studio of the 1930s and 1940s that launched actors like Dilip Kumar, Ashok Kumar, and Madhubala.
