Ayan Celebrates Brahmastra’s 360 Cr Worldwide, Starts 2nd Part Immediately; Ranbir Kapoor says ‘The possibility Of Exploring The Astraverse Is Endless’

Ayan also stated he has plans to shoot Brahmastra part 2 and 3, simultaneously as it was already planned as a trilogy, while exploring their storylines.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra released on September 9, making fans want to watch it after seeing numerous teasers. It has received immense praise from moviegoers, especially on VFX, Shah Rukh’s cameo appearance in a large dark room and chemistry between Ranbir and Alia. It stars Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna.

The box-office has been recording Brahmastra’s high figures from Day 1 itself. Taking to Instagram, Ayan posted about the film touching 360 cr worldwide. He said, BRAHMĀSTRA Part One is 11 days old today, and on this Monday (day of Shiv) putting out some good pure energy for…*What the Film has achieved so far! *The Journey it will continue over the next few weeks as the festive season comes upon us! *All the Audience Feedback we have received (good, and not so good) – all of which we are absorbing and learning deeply from!! *All the AMAZING Fan Theories out there (some of which we’re definitely going to use in our Future!)”

“PART TWO: DEV & The ASTRAVERSE! I didn’t think I would be ready to get back to work as soon as this first baby was delivered, but the Energy from our Audiences has given me the Energy to jump straight back into it…! For all this… Thank you!,” added Ayan.

The director announced his aim for the second part a few days ago, releasing in December 2025. Ayan also stated he has plans to shoot Brahmastra part 2 and 3, simultaneously as it was already planned as a trilogy, while exploring their storylines.

Ranbir is equally excited for the second part. While talking to an entertainment portal, he said, “The possibility of exploring the Astraverse is endless. There are multiple films that can be made on the history and universe of every Astra. So our plan as a team is to shoot both part 2 and part 3 together so that we don’t delay the films and they can be out in theatres as per the schedule.”

Meanwhile, Ranbir will next be seen in Animal opposite Rashmika Mandanna and Luv Ranjan’s upcoming film alongside Shraddha Kapoor, whereas Alia Bhatt has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Ranveer Singh.
