Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya has officially started shooting for his next directorial venture under the prestigious Rajshri Productions banner. The untitled romantic family entertainer stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in the lead roles and went on floors on November 1, 2025.
Anupam Kher Shares Exciting Update From Sets
Veteran actor Anupam Kher took to social media to share a heartfelt announcement about his involvement in the project. Revealing that this marks his 549th film, Kher wrote about his long association with Sooraj Barjatya and Rajshri Productions. The actor shared that he presented Barjatya with an auspicious shawl from Ayodhya to mark the occasion.
Kher reminisced about their journey together, mentioning that Barjatya worked as Mahesh Bhatt’s assistant for his debut film Saaransh. The actor expressed his joy at being part of the first shot of the film, continuing the tradition he shares with Rajshri Productions. His emotional post highlighted the creative journey and deep bond he shares with the production house.
Rajshri Productions Teams Up With Mahaveer Jain Films Again
Following their successful collaboration on Uunchai in 2022, Rajshri Productions has once again joined hands with Mahaveer Jain Films for this project. Sources close to the production revealed that both Barjatya and Mahaveer Jain had a wonderful working experience on Uunchai and decided to collaborate again for this new venture.
The film is being presented and produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films and Anita Gurnani. With Barjatya at the helm, audiences can expect the director’s signature touch of warmth, family values, and emotional depth that have defined his cinematic style over the years.
