The late Irrfan’s son Babil is ready to step into the showbiz. Following the footsteps of his father, Babil is making his acting debut in Anushka Sharma’s next production that will directly premiere on Netflix India. If reports are to be believed then it is a supernatural drama, titled Qala, and will see Babil playing the lead alongside Tripti Dimri. Tripti was last seen in Netflix’s Bulbul.
Earlier in 2017 Babil worked as a camera assistant on his father’s quirky comedy Qarib Qarib Singlle. The shooting is presently in the process, the team completed the first schedule in Gulmarg today.
Recently Babil arrived at the Filmfare to receive the Lifetime Achievement award on Irrfan’s behalf. His presence at the award function was the highlight of it.
While there is no official confirmation has been made by the team. Today Babil shared a picture for the set which hinted that he completed the first schedule of his first film.
