In a recent interview, Paresh Rawal addressed the past misunderstandings that led him to temporarily exit the project. He revealed that after some issues, he had even returned his signing amount with interest. However, he made it clear that those problems are now in the past and have not damaged his relationship with director Priyadarshan.
In fact, Rawal believes the experience has only made their bond stronger. “A lot has happened, but that hasn’t soured my relationship with Priyadarshan,” he stated, adding, “aise Rishta kharaab nahi hota hai.” He explained that they now understand each other better, the wounds have healed, and their relationship has become very transparent.
The Hit Jodi Of Priyadarshan And Paresh Rawal
The collaboration between Paresh Rawal and director Priyadarshan has given Bollywood some of its most memorable comedies. Their partnership is so strong that Hera Pheri 3 will mark their 15th film together. The duo recently wrapped up shooting for another film, Bhoot Bangla, which marks the filmmaker’s comeback to Bollywood. No Spin-Off For Baburao?
A while ago, there were talks about a potential spin-off film centered on the iconic character of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte. Paresh Rawal had also expressed interest in the idea. However, it seems that plan is no longer on the table. The actor revealed that they haven’t discussed it further, as he now feels Baburao can’t exist without his partners in crime. “A film is a collaborative effort. I don’t think Baburao can exist on his own. You’ll need Shyam and Raju too,” he concluded. For now, fans can look forward to seeing the complete trio together.
