About The Film

In Bad Newz, Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk excel as they navigate the challenges of fatherhood, while Triptii Dimri brings vibrant energy to the film. The story begins with Triptii’s character, Saloni Bagga, meeting Vicky’s character, Akhil Chadha, during a dramatic wedding. Akhil, a self-centred “mama’s boy,” marries Saloni on a whim.

Their impromptu honeymoon in Greece leads Saloni to decide to live independently in Mussoorie, where she encounters Gurbir Pannu (played by Ammy Virk). After a series of events, including a drunken night, Saloni discovers she is pregnant with twins from different fathers.

The film boasts a stellar cast, including Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk, and Neha Dhupia, with special appearances by Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma. It serves as a spiritual successor to the 2019 hit Good Newwz, which featured Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh.
