Salman Khan’s next big-screen outing Monster is gearing up for an attention-grabbing first look, and Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that the teaser has been designed as a dark, high-impact title reveal. The teaser is expected to release soon and its visual treatment and scene-by-scene mood remain under wraps for now, making this one of the first detailed breaks on what audiences can expect.
What The Monster Teaser Will Show
The teaser is expected to present Salman in an intense and stripped-down action avatar. The visual mood is understood to be grim and violent, opening in the middle of rain-soaked devastation. Salman appears bare-chested and bald in the teaser, instantly setting a more brutal tone than a conventional hero entry.
The imagery gets darker from there. Dead bodies are seen lying around him, with blood adding to the film’s raw atmosphere. At one key moment, Salman is shown sitting on the ground before taking out a knife, a beat that appears to be designed as the teaser’s most striking image. The sequence then moves toward the title reveal of Monster, positioning the film as a gritty action spectacle rather than a sleek star vehicle.
More details are expected to follow once the makers officially unveil promotional material, but this early breakdown indicates that the campaign is aiming for shock value through stark visuals instead of dialogue-heavy buildup.
Monster In Production
Monster, previously tentpoled as SVC63, has already generated curiosity as a major Salman Khan project, with Dil Raju attached as producer and Nayanthara confirmed as the female lead. The film is Khan’s first pan-India film and is being directed by Vamshi Paidipally, who is best known for directing mainstream film works such as Munna (2007), Brindavanam (2010), Yevadu (2014), Oopiri (2016), Maharshi (2019) and Varisu (2023). The film has also been associated with a big-scale action setup, which fits the darker teaser treatment now being readied for launch.
The music is being composed by Vishal Mishra, who is also set to sing the title track. The film is currently in production with schedules filming in Mumbai and massive sets including an Afghanistan village recreation. Reports indicate Salman Khan is performing intense stunts himself. The makers are aiming for a theatrical release around Eid 2027.
The film is even more important for Salman Khan because his Matrabhoomi did not move ahead as planned, making Monster an even more important title in his current lineup. With that backdrop, the film now stands out as the one carrying fresh momentum, especially as the makers prepare to formally announce the film with a teaser built around atmosphere, violence and a striking star image.
Salman Khan’s Recent And Upcoming Work
Salman was last seen in Sikandar, which released in 2025. Before that, his recent screen appearances included Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in 2023 and cameo appearances in high-profile 2024 releases. In the OTT space, he remained visible through his hosting work and special appearances rather than a full-fledged streaming feature film role.
