The Mumbai headquarters of prominent producer-distributor Jayantilal Gada in Juhu is in disarray. Gada fainted in his workplace two-three days ago and was brought to the hospital, according to a source who spoke with ETimes this afternoon. Gada also had to have heart surgery and had a pacemaker implanted in his heart, according to the source.
His son Dhaval said, “Well, Dad didn’t collapse. Lekin haan, he was in a hospital and doctors fitted a pacemaker in his heart. He is better now and has been discharged from the hospital. Yes, this happened a couple of days ago.”
Jayantilal Gada’s company, according to the source, is primarily a one-man show, and he is now creating a number of films. Jayantilal had taken a sabbatical after suffering a great deal of loss a few years ago. However, he returned with ‘Gangubai,’ ‘Bell Bottom,’ ‘RRR,’ and a slew of additional songs in the recent past and future.
