The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will shortly commence the sanitization procedure for Kareena Kapoor Khan and her close friend Amrita Arora’s separate properties after they were both tested positive. Following that, the authority will undertake RT-PCR COVID-19 tests in accordance with the state government’s safety procedures.

“Our medical teams will be conducting RT-PCR COVID19 testing at the residential buildings of actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora. Sanitisation of the building premises will also be done” ANI quoted BMC on the same.
BMC had previously claimed that Kareena and Amrita had been breaking COVID-19 rules by going to parties despite testing positive for the dangerous virus. Bebo released an official statement on social media shortly after it was announced that she had tested positive for COVID-19. She wrote, “I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested. My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms. Thankfully, I am feeling ok and hope to be up and about soon.”

Speaking to ETimes, Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor shared that his daughter is doing well and that both her kids are at home with her. “Kareena had mild fever and body ache on Sunday and hence she underwent the test. But she is absolutely fine now. Doctors are taking good care of her. She is currently in home quarantine so I told her to send the kids to my place, but she said that Taimur and Jeh can stay with her. She is fit and fine so it will be okay,” said Kapoor.
