Bobby Deol, who is known for his versatile roles in films like Soldier, Badal, Bichhoo, and more recently, Aashram and Class of ’83, is all set to play a pivotal role in the upcoming crime thriller Animal. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Kabir Singh fame, also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles.

The makers of Animal have been unveiling the first look posters of the actors one by one, and the latest one to join the list is Bobby Deol. The poster shows Bobby in a dark and intense avatar, with a lot of blood splashed on his face. He is seen wearing a blue suit.

Bobby Deol plays the role of antagonist in the film opposite Ranbir Kapoor aka Animal. Ranbir Kapoor plays a ruthless gangster who has a troubled relationship with his father Balbir Singh, played by Anil Kapoor. Rashmika Mandanna plays Arjun’s wife Geetanjali, while Tripti Dimri plays another female lead. The film revolves around the extreme bloodshed of the underworld and the complex dynamics between the characters.

About ‘Animal’
Animal is slated to release on December 1, 2023, in five languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios, and has music by Manan Bhardwaj and Harshwardhan Rameshwar. The teaser of the film will be out on September 28, 2023, which also happens to be Ranbir Kapoor‘s birthday.
The film has been shot in various locations like Manali, Mumbai, Pataudi Palace, Delhi and Punjab. The film also has some foreign schedules in England and Scotland. Animal marks the first collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga after his blockbuster hit Kabir Singh in 2019.
