Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva released on September 9, making fans want to watch it after seeing numerous teasers. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy as lead actors, whereas Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in cameo appearances. It has received immense praise from moviegoers, especially on VFX and chemistry between Ranbir and Alia.
Brahmastra Part 2: Dev will be worked upon actively on ground by the year end or the beginning of 2023. “Ayan has more or less written the script for the entire Trilogy before he started shooting Part 1. Now he needs to fine-tune Part 2, make it more racy and perhaps accentuate the plot points which have been liked in the first part. Karan Johar (the producer of the Trilogy) and his co-producers Fox-Star are keen to kick-off Part 2 sooner rather than later. Ayan wants to take a break before getting into Part 2. But it looks like he won’t be allowed any respite,” Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying.
Part 1: Shiva of Brahmastra proved the boycott gang and paid campaigns wrong as the second part: Dev will emerge stronger than this as per reports. Netizens have been demanding Mukerji for the sequel as they liked the performances of all with its plot. Moreover, Shah Rukh’s fans have begun a petition demanding the makers to go ahead for a spin-off starring King Khan’s character from the film as a key role.
