In a much-anticipated development for Bollywood enthusiasts, it has been learnt that the father-daughter duo of Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan is set to share the silver screen in a project tentatively titled The King. Produced by Sidharth Anand and directed by the talented Sujoy Ghosh, the film is generating considerable buzz as fans eagerly await this rare on-screen collaboration.
Suhana Khan Making Debut With Netflix’s The Archies

Not Just Tiger 3, Shah Rukh Khan To Also Do A Special Appearance In Suhana Khan’s The Archies Before Dunki?
Shah Rukh Khan will be making a grand entry in Tiger 3, the third instalment of the blockbuster spy thriller franchise starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Shah Rukh Khan will reprise his role as Pathaan, the character he played in his recent hit film of the same name. He will have a 25 minutes-long cameo in Tiger 3 and will be involved in a high-octane action sequence with Salman Khan.
The report revealed that the scene featuring the two superstars was planned by producer Aditya Chopra and director Maneesh Sharma for over six months and involved three top action directors from across the world. The scene, which reportedly cost more than Rs 30 crore, will show Shah Rukh Khan saving Salman Khan from Pakistan’s jail and escaping on a motorcycle, Sholay-style. Tiger 3 is scheduled for release on November 12, 2023.
But that’s not all. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh Khan will make a special appearance in The Archies, a Netflix film adapted from an American comic book of the same name. The film, directed by Zoya Akhtar, stars Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina, and Dot, among others, as a group of teenagers who form a band and navigate their lives. The film is slated to premiere on Netflix on December 7, 2023.
The report further stated that Shah Rukh Khan wanted to be part of the project in some way, as it marks Suhana’s entry into the industry. He has a special connection to the film and will be seen in a brief role. The details of his character and his scene are being kept under wraps to maintain the suspense for the viewers.
Shah Rukh Khan also took to his official Twitter account to share the trailer of The Archies and express his support and love for his daughter and the entire team. He wrote, “A contemporary subject with timeless characters #TheArchies… thrown into a world that is very fable-like. Zoya has created such an innocent and pristine quality to the film…maybe just like our world could be with a more responsible outlook towards the environment. All the best to the entire team involved with this sweet and meaningful fun film!”
