Breaking: Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan Crossed Record 100k Likes On Bookmyshow Two Months Before Release

Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback with a bang this year with Pathaan. The action thriller film went on to become a massive commercial success and brought back the audiences to the theatre. Now, the megastar has two more films in the lineup that will release in 2023. One of them is again an action thriller flick titled Jawan, directed by Atlee Kumar.

Now, there is a great piece of news about the film as it has reportedly crossed the record-breaking 100k likes on the ticket booking platform, Bookmyshow. This happened two months before the release of the film. Jawan crossed the 100k mark in around 55 days, which is less than two months. This is a clear sign that fans of SRK are supremely excited about his film.

Here are the Bookmyshow interests for Hindi films in 2023:

Jawan: 100k (55 days to release)

Gadar 2: 78k (35 days to release)

Tiger 3: 43.4k (120 days to release)

Animal: 24.5k (140 days to release)

Dunki: 28.8k (161 days to release)

Interestingly, the list has another anticipated SRK film, Dunki which stands at a 28.8k mark in 161 days. Meanwhile, Jawan’s craze and anticipation among the fans have been cemented with these numbers. This also means that fans are really into watching Shah Rukh in an action avatar, just like Pathaan. Its first-look posters have been loved by people across the nation. The film’s trailer is expected to release tomorrow.

About Jawan

Jawan is directed by popular Tamil director Atlee Kumar, in his Bollywood debut. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Sanya Malhotra. The film is slated to release on 7 September. Apart from this, SRK will be also seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki which will release during the Christmas week in December.
