Nushrratt Bharuccha was last seen in Ajeeb Daastaans, a Netflix feature. She will now be seen in Chhorii in an entirely different avatar. Nushratt portrays a city girl who relocates to a little community in the country. She sees and fights mysterious bad entities there in order to safeguard the baby she is carrying. Her days, on the other hand, are filled with waking nightmares.

Chhorii is a Hindi version of Lapachhapi, a critically acclaimed Marathi film.
