Cinama halls across India are now closed since since the Coronavirus Pandemic. The question about the halls reopening have been unanswered simce then.
Now, the ministry of home affairs has announced a detailed guidelines of Unlock 5. This will be effective from October 1. And this time, the guidelines comes as a good news for the cinema hall owners.
According to the new guidelines, “cinema halls/ multiplexes/ swimming pools used for training of sportspersons/entertainment parks to re-open from 15th October.”
A report by ANI states, “Cinemas/ theatres/ multiplexes will be permitted to open with up to 50% of their seating capacity, for which, SOP will be issued by I&B Ministry: Government of India”
