Complaint Lodged Against Carry On Jatta 3 Film For Alleged Derogatory Content

Ishant Sharma, the president of Shiv Sena Hind’s Youth committee, along with Sunil Kumar Bunty, the Chairman of Punjab Shiv Sena (Taksali), filed a formal complaint at the Jalandhar police station against the director and actors of Carry On Jatta 3.

Sunil Kumar Bunty, the Chairman of Punjab Shiv Sena (Taksali), expressed his concerns to ANI regarding the film Carry On Jatta 3. According to Bunty, the film targets Hindus, as it portrays a scene where a Brahmin conducting Havan rituals is subjected to humiliation. The actions of actors Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon, and Gurpreet Ghuggi, who allegedly pour water on the Havan Kund, are viewed as a violation of the religious beliefs held by millions of Hindus.

In light of this, Bunty and the Shiv Sena Hind have filed a formal complaint, urging that section 295 be applied to the individuals involved, citing religious sentiment as being hurt. Additionally, they called for section 153 to be invoked if there are attempts to disturb the peace and harmony in Punjab.

Sunil Kumar Bunty, the Chairman of Punjab Shiv Sena (Taksali), strongly criticized the actions of the individuals involved in Carry On Jatta 3, accusing them of targeting the Hindu religion in a bid to gain higher TRP ratings. Bunty expressed his concern that if such an incident had occurred involving another caste, there would have been destructive consequences, potentially leading to the theater being set on fire. He emphasized that Hinduism is a peaceful and tolerant religion, which is why they chose to approach the government first.

However, if the government fails to respond within 24 hours, Bunty warned that they would protest outside the residences of director Kang and actor Gurpreet Ghuggi, both of whom reside in Jalandhar.
