Saif Ali Khan to star in the Hindi version of Nordic drama ‘The Bridge’. He is expected to produce the project through his company called Black Knight films. Its adaptation in numerous languages, placed across the international borders of UK/France, US/Mexico, Germany/Austria, Singapore/Malaysia and Russia/Estonia.
As per Bollywood Hungama, CEO of Endemol Shine India, Rishi Negi, said, “The Bridge’s script is powerful, as it speaks a language recognised and enjoyed by audiences sitting anywhere in the world. It is a global story that can be made distinctively local, using the basic premise of the series and we look forward to recreating the magic of this show to captivate the Indian audience.”

Hans Rosenfeldt originally wrote and created ‘The Bridge’. The crime thriller showcases a dead body that is founded on the border shared by two countries. While one half of the body is in one country, another lies in the other country. As a consequence, both the countries take part in the forces to do a joint investigation to unravel the murder.
