The most popular actress in Telugu film industry, Rashmika Mandanna is loved by many due to her outstanding performances. Besides South, She has also become a famous face in Hindi film industry.
Recently, the actress made her OTT debut with Goodbye. Now, The actress is all set to work alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Animal which will mark her first Hindi theater release.
Talking about the film and her experience with Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, she told Bollywood Bubble, “For me I think what is happening after shooting for Animal is that it has made me realize a couple of things as an actor. I think my choices of films are going to be different. I think the way I’m going to perform is going to be different. Because, this is all the influence of me working so closely with Sandeep sir, RK, and Anil sir in fact.”
After sharing her excitement about the film, she concluded, “This is something I learnt in Animal. Like, there can never be one way of showing sadness. There are four, five, six, and seven ways of showing sadness. So, you try all those. And which fits your bucket the best, is what you choose.”
Recently, Rashmika has been named the ‘Coorg Person of the Year 2022’ by a news portal based in the Kodagu region. She took to Twitter to thank the portal and wrote, “This makes me feel really happy.I’ve always in my mind hoped that one day I’d make my people proud and this proves that I did something right.. thankyou so much for the love my darlings.. The 26-year-old actress also spoke about the criticism she faced after she said she had not watched Rishab Shetty’s Kantara due to lack of time. She told Bollywood Bubble, “I realized that us being actors, we can’t expect people to only like us. You’re not going to pay everyone’s cup of tea. So, there’s going to be a lot of hate. There’s going to be a lot of love. But people are going to end up talking about you. Yeah! We’re public figures. We are talking to the public. We are out there. We are promoting our films. We are doing interviews.”
Meanwhile, Rashmika and Ranbir starrer Animal is slated to release on August 11, 2023. The film will also feature Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri in key roles.
