Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 has been in the news for various reasons now. From the explosive trailer to controversy related to dropping Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s voice from the film, it’s been a rollercoaster ride for the makers.
After replacing Rahat Fateh Ali Khan with Javed Ali, the makers of Dabangg 3 clarified that they’re not going to accommodate Pakistani artists in the film. All of this is because of the boycott Pakistani artists’ controversy that has been a part of Bollywood for years now.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s spokesperson, in a conversation with a leading daily, said, “Basically two songs were recorded for Dabangg 3. Everyone wanted the songs and they’re really good. This song ‘Naina’ is lovely and everyone misses the fact that Rahat sahab’s version couldn’t go on. But at the end of the day, of course, he (Salman Khan) has to see the interests of his country, so I don’t think the artist has choices there given the circumstances.”
Directed by Prabhudeva, Dabangg 3 is produced by Salma Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Nikhil Dwivedi under the banner of Salman Khan Films and is slated to release on 20th December 2019. The film will also be Salman’s first ever to release in Multiple languages.
