Fans of Abhishek Bachchan got a treat on Wednesday when the actor revealed the trailer release date for his upcoming flick Dasvi. Dasvi is a film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam Dhar, and Nimrat Kaur about a criminal in prison who wishes to take his class 10th board examinations from within the prison. Following the release of the first look and teaser, Abhishek revealed that the trailer will be released on March 23. He also unveiled a poster.
Sharing the poster, Abhishek wrote, “Kal kare so aaj kar, aaj kare so ab, sabka ek hi sawaal, #Dasvi ka trailer aayega kab? #DasviTrailer out on 23rd March!”

On social media, Yami and Nimrat had also shared the same poster and announcement. Abhishek was previously seen in the teaser announcing and telling his cell companions to cease creating noise while studying for his 10th board examinations. The teaser piqued viewers’ interest in the film. In the film, Yami will play an IPS officer, while Nimrat will portray a politician.
The film is directed by Tushar Jalota and is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Shobhavam Yadav, and Sandeep Leyzell. From April 7, it will be available on Netflix and Jio Cinemas.
