On February 14, ‘The Romantics,’ starring 35 of the top Bollywood celebrities, will make its Netflix debut. In the upcoming series, the Bollywood industry will discuss this legacy and their roles in Yash Chopra films.
The person who taught how love is portrayed in Hindi films is the one and only ‘Yash Chopra’. The series, which premieres on Valentine’s Day, will be a fitting tribute to the late director’s almost 50-year legacy and that of his son Aditya Chopra, who is currently the chairman of ‘Yash Raj Films’. In a recent teaser, Ranbir Kapoor is seen discussing ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, Aditya’s first film as a director at the age of 23, which had a lasting impact on Indian popular culture.
Ranbir Kapoor continues to be enthralled by Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s legendary hit ‘DDLJ’, just like millions of millennials in India.In a new trailer of The Romantics, Ranbir said, “DDLJ has been the defining film of our generation! I can’t even tell you that feeling is still alive inside me. It Influenced the way I dressed. It influenced the way I spoke to a girl. It influenced how I was with my parents… everything!”

Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana also expressed his feelings on DDLJ and said, “I was,like, in the film. I want to just go inside and just be one of the characters in the film”.
Moreover, The famous Bollywood actors from Aamir Khan to Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan to Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan to Ranveer Singh, Rani Mukerji to Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif to Anushka Sharma, will be seen talking about the legend Yash Chopra, and YRF’s contribution and impact in the Hindi cinema industry. Aditya Chopra will also be giving his first-ever interview on screen in the ‘The Romantics’.
Smriti Mundhra, who has been nominated for an Oscar and an Emmy and is the creator of popular shows including Indian Matchmaking and Never Have I Ever, is the director of ‘The Romantics’.
