
With the film titled Chhapaak, Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is making her debut as a producer in the industry. While the film is yet to release she is all ready for her next production.
While talking to a tabloid the actress confirmed the news and spill the beans about the next project. According to the Ram Leela star, the story will be the Mahabharata narrated from Draupadi’s point of view.
Talking about the genre of the film she said that the film will not so much about a female perspective as it will be a diverse perspective.
She also added that once the director is on board they will think of further details.
Well interestingly, a few times back Indian- American author Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni had sold the rights of her book, The Palace of Illusions to adapt to a film. While it is still unknown who bought the right since the plot of Deepika’s next production and the plot of the book are similar. Now we can joint the dots!
Meanwhile, Deepika is occupied in promoting of her upcoming film Chhapaak. The film is slated to release on January 10.
