Deepika Padukone may be seen playing the iconic role of Sita Maiyya in the film entitled Sita The Incarnation. The film will be directed by Alaukik Desai and will look at the Ramayan from Sita Maiyya’s point of view.
As per the information, Deepika is the initial choice of the makers to play the role of Sita. Interestingly the actress is also up for the role of Sita in a massive feature film to be directed by Nitish Tiwari.
Now it will be intriguing to see which of these projects finally land up to Deepika.
Meanwhile, Deepika will be next seen playing Romi Dev in the Kapil Dev bio-pic ’83 with her husband Ranveer Singh. She will also be seen in Karan Johar’s untitled production being directed by Shakun Batra, and in Yash Raj Films’ Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan.
