All eyes were set on 2024, with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor’ film Fighterbeing the the first big release of the year. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand, post the success of War and Pathaan. Fighter, which released on January 25 coinciding with Republic Day.
Deleted Song From Hrithik And Deepika Starrer Fighter Will Be Added In Cinemas From Tomorrow
We were first to bring you that makers deleted one song from the film Fighter due to excessive length. Censor certificate of Fighter was out and one can clearly see that one song Ishq Thoda Dono Jagah was deleted from the film. 2 minute 38 second long song stands deleted from the film. There were reports that the song was deleted by makers to cut short the length of the film which was later admitted by Siddharth Anand in an interview.
Videos of same song was doing round of social media as this song was still part of the film in overseas prints. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are looking million bucks in the song and it’s melody is spot on. Fans were baffled and they are questioning decision of editing this good song out of the film.
Now the song is back in the cinemas from tomorrow and this is happening probably first time in last few years that a song is added from 3rd week of the run. Director Siddharth Anand shared the update for the same.
He wrote, “The love anthem from Fighter – #BekaarDil in Cinemas all over India from the Friday. After many years this is happening..a song is added into the film 2 weeks after release! And!!Watch #ishqjaisakuch 1 minute AFTER the end titles!! Wait for it!!! It’s worth it!”

Fighter has opened to glowing reviews all over on day one morning though it managed only 22 cr nett on day one. Film remained average over the weekend but dropped big on Monday and collected average 150 crore nett in week one. Though film surprised in 2nd weekend and collected 30 cr nett. Film has crossed 195 crore nett in two weeks and will finish with 205 crore nett India lifetime. Film is very good in overseas and crossed 10 Million USD despite no release in Middle East.
