Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak is doing good on the box office, however, controversy has yet not left the film. Laxmi Agarwal’s lawyer, Aparna Bhat who had filed contempt in court against the film for not giving her due credit in the film had moved to higher court now.
Even though the lower court had order the makers have not given her credit in the film however, it looks like Aparna is not willing to back down from this fight.
The lawyer had now claimed that the makers have not given her credit as the movie screens internationally but gave her the due credit as it screened in India.
Bhat was Laxmi’s lawyer who represented her case against the attackers and has filed contempt in Delhi High Court after the makers chose to ignore the court’s orders.
However, no official announcement has been made from the makers of Chhapaak.
