Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde are set to bring the house down at the upcoming International League T20 (ILT20) opening ceremony in Dubai. The duo will perform their latest track, “Bhasad Macha,” from their upcoming film Deva on January 12, 2024.

This electrifying performance will be part of the grand ILT20 event. A source close to the film shared, “Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde are ready to set the stage ablaze at the ILT20 opening ceremony, where they will perform Bhasad Macha in front of a massive crowd.”
With Shahid’s iconic swag and Pooja’s stunning dance moves, the performance is set to be a major spectacle. “Dubai is about to experience pure bhasad,” the source added.
“This performance will have the audience on their feet and leave everyone buzzing with excitement, just days before the film’s release.”
The ILT20 tournament, held in the United Arab Emirates and sanctioned by the Emirates Cricket Board, will provide the perfect stage for Shahid and Pooja’s performance. Originally scheduled for early 2023, the tournament has now been rescheduled to take place in January 2024. It features six teams and promises to be a thrilling cricketing spectacle, with the added excitement of Bollywood’s finest bringing the glam to the event.
Shahid Kapoor spoke on the green carpet of the International Indian Film Academy Awards and shared some exciting details about Deva. “It’s an action film, so it has a lot of action. It also has the thrill element, hopefully, you’ll be wondering who did it until the end,” Shahid said.
He added, “It’s an extremely aggressive character that I’m playing. It’s a very alive film; it should jump you out and make you feel its energy if we cut the right teaser and the trailer. It’s out on February 14 next year, and I can’t wait for the audience to give their feedback.”
