Crew Cut, No-Phone Policy & More Strict Measures By Devara Makers
“A crucial dialogue from the movie leaked recently. This has prompted the team to significantly enhance security measures on set. Our top priority is to ensure the project’s safety and confidentiality,” a source close to the production told Mid-Day.
In response to the leak, the production team has implemented stricter protocols to prevent further breaches. These measures include reducing the crew size to only essential personnel and enforcing a no-phone policy on set. This policy aims to eliminate the possibility of filming or photographing sensitive scenes. Additionally, all filmed footage is now encrypted before being sent to the editing room.
“We are committed to delivering a cinematic experience that our audience can enjoy without any spoilers. The number of unit members on set has been reduced to the bare minimum, and the footage is encrypted and sent to editing,” the source added.
Janhvi Kapoor & Jr NTR To Shoot An Electrifying Track On July 16
As per the sources, filming for Devara: Part 1 is nearing completion. “Only a couple of songs and a small portion are left to be shot,” the source revealed.
A report suggests that an electrifying dance duet featuring Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor is scheduled to be filmed on a specially constructed set in Shamshabad on Tuesday, 16 July. This song, choreographed by Sekhar Master, is expected to be a highlight of the film. “Due to the recent leak, this song will be shot in a closed-door setup,” confirmed the source. “Additionally, a strict no-phone policy will be enforced on set during the filming days.”

Devara: Part 1 is a highly anticipated project, marking the Telugu cinema debut of both Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Directed and written by Koratala Siva, the film began production in April 2023. Set against a scenic forest backdrop, the story features Jr. NTR in a dual role, portraying characters named Devara and Vara. One of these characters is believed to be a student leader on a mission to dismantle the forest mafia.
With these increased security measures in place and filming nearing completion, Devara: Part 1 remains on track for its scheduled release in October 2024.
