Dhanush‘s second directorial project, D50, will now officially be known as Raayan. His first-look poster from the film was released on Monday, February 19. The film’s official production house, Sun Pictures, shared the poster and the title of the film. ‘Raayan’ is slated to release in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
The announcement post on Sun Pictures’ official X handle read, “#D50 is #Raayan. Written & Directed by @dhanushkraja. Music by @arrahman. Releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi (sic).”

In the poster, Dhanush can be seen standing in front of what seems to be a food truck. He sports a closed-cropped look and a moustache. For the outfit, he is seen in a red shirt and an apron.
Dhanush had begun filming and directing the film in July last year. It was announced with a new poster which featured the actor with a clean-shaven head. However, the actor’s face could not be seen. The poster also showcased factories in the background, reminiscent of the announcement poster, with strokes of red reaching the skies.

Meanwhile, further details regarding the cast and crew of Raayan are eagerly awaited.
Dhanush made his directorial debut with the 2017 film, Pa Paandi. The film also earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Director – Tamil.
Upcoming Films Of Dhanush
He was last seen in Captain Miller. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the film is an action-adventure drama set in the pre-Independence era. It also features Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, John Kokken and Moor in key roles.
Dhanush was last seen in Arun Matheswaran’s period drama film Captain Miller, which also featured Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Vinoth Kishan and more in prominent roles. The film, which was released on January 12th, garnered highly positive reviews from fans and critics alike.
Apart from Raayan, the actor is also set to feature in Sekhar Kammula’s next, tentatively titled DNS. The film also features Nagarjuna in a prominent role. Furthermore, Dhanush is also set to direct his third film, titled Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, which is touted to be a coming of age romance, featuring a young cast including Mathew Thomas, Priya Varrier, Anikha Surendran and more in crucial roles.
