
Legendary actor Dharmendra is all set to collaborate with his two generations to a very special project. The Deol family will be bringing the sequel of there 2007 released family drama, Apne.
Sharing the news with his fans Dharmendra wrote, “Apne is one of the best films of my life. A joint effort by the whole unit, received very well by you all. Now, I’m very happy because I will get to shoot Apne 2 with my entire family – my sons Sunny, Bobby and my grandson Karan. It will be a very special film and I am looking forward to shoot.”
Staring Dharmendra and his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, Apne released in 2007. The film also stared Kiron Kher, Shilpa Shetty and Katrina Kaif. The film was an emotional journey of a father and sons.
The film got quite a good response at the box office, after which the father sons trio featured in Yamla Pagla Deewana series.
This time in Apne 2 the cast will also be joined by Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol. It will surely be a treat for the fans to see three generations of Deols on a single screen.
According to the reports directed by Anil Sharma, the film will go on floors in March next year and is slated for a Diwali in 2021. The shooting will take place largely in Mumbai and London.
