Over a decade ago, Kiran Rao made her directorial debut with the film Dhobi Ghat. The filmmaker is now working on her second feature movie. However, till now, the film was untitled and now the film has got a tentative name and it is titled 2 Brides.

Kiran Rao’s second film, according to Mid-Day, will be a drama-comedy, as opposed to Dhobi Ghat, which was termed an arthouse film. Aamir Khan, Kiran’s ex-husband and actor will produce the film. According to sources, the film is termed a massy entertainer, and after hearing the script, Aamir agreed to join as producer right away.
Sparsh Shrivastav (Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega), Pratibha Rant (Qurbaan Hua), and 15-year-old Nitanshi Goel will play the film’s three leads. The plot centres on three individuals and is authored by Biplab Goswami with a screenplay by Sneha Desai.

The film’s initial schedule will last till January 20th, and it will be shot in several towns throughout Maharashtra. Kiran hopes to complete the film’s production by April. This project will also include composer Ram Sampath and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya.
