I was at the studio at 4 am with Shashwat, and we were recording and writing the song the day that the music album launched. The day that we performed the songs, was the day it was recorded.”
She also explained that while parts of the idea had existed earlier, the final version only took shape when the album was being locked. Sandlas described the song as one rooted in loneliness and betrayal, and that emotional foundation now feels central to why the track has stayed with audiences after the film’s release.
