In Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s Prithviraj, all eyes are on Akshay Kumar and his lovely co-star Manushi Chillar. Sonu Sood, who has risen to prominence in recent months as a result of his philanthropic activity, plays a crucial part in Prithiviraj.
“It is a role parallel to Akshay Kumar’s. Sonu Sood plays the poet Chand Bardai who penned the epic poem Prithviraj Raso on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan,” reveals a source close to the development to BH.
The character was close to Prithviraj and played a role in the construction of the fabled aura that around him. According to sources, Sonu Sood’s role in Prthiviraj has been increased further after his fan base grew exponentially over the last year.
Akshay Kumar will be seen portraying King Prithviraj Chauhan of the Chahamana dynasty in the film. Manushi Chhillar, who plays Sanyogita, will make her acting debut in Bollywood industry with this film. In addition to Akshay and Manushi, the film also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari in the pivotal roles.
