The film, which hit theatres on Thursday, saw a notable growth in collections on Friday, particularly in overseas markets. This weekend bump in international markets, combined with steady numbers in India, propelled the film to a global gross of Rs 10 crore on Friday alone.
After two days, the film’s total collections stand at Rs 18 crore worldwide. In India, Jatt And Juliet 3 has amassed Rs 8.20 crore, while overseas earnings have reached Rs 9.80 crore (USD 1.17 million).
Jatt And Juliet 3 Domestic Collections
On Friday, Jatt And Juliet 3 grossed Rs 4.10 crore (Rs 3.50 crore nett) in India. It maintained its opening day numbers, which is a strong indicator of positive audience reception. While there was a slight dip in collections in Punjab, the film saw gains in other regions.
This trend helped narrow the gap with another Punjabi hit, Carry on Jatta 3. On its second day, the difference in collections between the two films was just Rs 30 lakhs, down from Rs 1.10 crore on the first day.
The main discrepancy remains in Punjab, where Carry on Jatta 3 leads, while in other regions, Jatt And Juliet 3 is either on par or slightly ahead.
Jatt And Juliet 3 On The Global Box Office
Jatt And Juliet 3 has set new records for Punjabi films internationally. On Friday, it recorded the biggest single-day collection for a Punjabi film overseas, grossing USD 675K compared to Carry on Jatta 3‘s USD 550K.
In Canada, the film earned CAD 390K, nearly doubling the previous record. Australia saw a gross of AUD 202K, surpassing the AUD 195K opening day of Mastaney. New Zealand and the United States also reported record-breaking collections, cementing Jatt and Juliet 3‘s status as a global hit.
