Producer Dinesh Vijan is all set to bring Angrezi Medium starring Irrfan Khan Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in pivotal roles. The film is from his 2017 ‘Hindi Medium’ franchise. Now according to the information Angrezi Medium which also stars Deepak Dobriyal and Dimple Kapadia, will have another installment titled ‘Chinese Medium’.
Dinesh says that he would love to take the franchise forward if the lead actor Irrfan Khan agrees for the same.
‘Angrezi Medium’, which is slated for release on March 13, 2020, is a story of a father and daughter who struggles to fulfill his daughter’s dreams.
According to the filmmaker, since his last film, Hindi Medium had a huge impact on the Chinese audience and they are also planning to release Angrezi Medium in a few months’ time as well.
Talking to a daily he said, “Yes, Hindi Medium released in China and was a hit. Angrezi Medium, too, will find its way there in a few months. I was in the country four weeks after the first film opened on April 4, 2018, dining at a private room in one of the restaurants when one of the waitresses, having heard that the producer of Hindi Medium was there, came running to tell me she’d seen the film with her young daughter and it had really connected with her. That set me thinking.”
