A few months ago, there were reports that John Abraham was approached by Mohit Suri for the sequel of Ek Villain. The actor gave a nod to the movie. John will be seen sharing the screen soace with Malang actor Aditya Roy Kapur in the film.
Now, the female lead of the movie is confirmed. Disha Patani will be seen as the leading lady in Ek Villain 2. Ek Villain was a revenge drama which was released in 2014. The movie was directed by Mohit Suri and starred Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead roles.
Interestingly, the movie will have second leading lady as well and the makers are in search for her. Director, Mohit Suri revealed that Disha approached him for Ek Villain 2 as she wanted to do a complete action film like the men in the movie do. Aditya and Disha were seen together in Malang but this time Disha will be seen opposite John Abraham.
Ek Villain 2 is slated to release on January 8, 2021.
