Drishyam The Conclusion Cleared By CBFC Without A Single Cut, Runtime Locked At 150 Minutes

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam The Conclusion has crossed a major pre release checkpoint cleanly. The thriller has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification with a U/A 16+ certificate, and notably, without a single cut or modification. The censor certificate was issued on September 28, 2026, locking the film’s final runtime at 150 minutes, or 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Clean Censor Pass For Drishyam The Conclusion

The clean clearance stands out because the film was not asked to make any visual or audio changes before certification. Even standard compliance additions that are sometimes sought during the process were not required here. That gives Drishyam The Conclusion a notably smooth path into cinemas just days before release.

At 150 minutes, the film is also longer than Drishyam 2, which ran for 142 minutes. That makes the new installment eight minutes longer than the 2022 sequel, while still shorter than the 2015 Drishyam, which had a runtime of 162 minutes. Within the Hindi franchise, it now ranks as the second longest film.

Release Date, Cast And Franchise Details

Drishyam The Conclusion is slated to arrive in cinemas on October 2, 2026. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant. It is directed by Abhishek Pathak and backed by producers Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. IMDb’s current listing for the film also reflects the 2026 title and cast alignment around the project.

The Drishyam films have built their appeal on tight plotting, family stakes and the constant cat and mouse tension around Vijay Salgaonkar. This final chapter is positioned as the concluding act in that long running battle, with the franchise once again leaning on suspense and moral conflict rather than spectacle.

Ajay Devgn’s Recent And Upcoming Work

Ajay Devgn has remained one of Hindi cinema’s busiest stars across theatrical and franchise driven films. His recent releases over the past few years include Shaitaan in 2024, while industry listings also show De De Pyaar De 2 in 2025 and Dhamaal 4 in 2026 among his released or scheduled marquee titles around this period. His upcoming slate on current film databases includes franchise heavy commercial projects that continue his strong run with sequels and ensemble entertainers.

With Drishyam The Conclusion now officially certified and locked, the focus shifts squarely to its theatrical opening on October 2. For a franchise that has thrived on tension, secrecy and smart reversals, a no cuts clearance is an early boost and another sign of confidence ahead of release.
