The recent Telugu blockbuster, Sita Ramam, starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna, is getting ready for Hindi release in theaters on September 2, 2022.
The Hanu Raghvapudi-directed period romantic drama has been a true box office blockbuster from Tollywood this year. Set in 1964, Lieutenant Ram, an orphan army officer serving at the Kashmir border, gets anonymous love letters from Sita Mahalakshmi. Ram is on a mission to find Sita and propose his love.
Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema, the film was released in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages on August 5 and so far has grossed over 65 crores worldwide. The dubbed Hindi version prove to be icing on the cake as talks are highly positive among the audiences and there is no new Bollywood film till September 9.
Dr. Jayantilal Gada, who earlier released blockbuster “RRR” and Alia Bhatt’s hit “Gangubai Kathiawadi” this year, acquired distribution rights of “Sita Ramam” for the Hindi version under Pen Studios. “It’s now time for the Telugu blockbuster, #SitaRamam, to mesmerize us all in Hindi on September 2nd”, the studio announced via Twitter.
