The film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, features a star-studded cast of Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. The teaser, titled Dunki Drop 1, gives a glimpse into the world of a group of friends who have ambitious dreams and aspirations.

The title announcement video of the film was released on October 2, 2023. The Dunki poster that was revealed a few weeks back didn’t show Shah Rukh’s face.
