The film, which stars Mohanlal in the lead role, will be made on a reportedly massive budget of over 200 crores. She met Mohanlal at Yash Raj Studios to sign the documents and officially come on board as its producer. Apart from her, Vrushabha is produced by AVS Studios and Connect Media. Directed by Nanda Kishore, the film will be a multilingual drama and will release in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. It will release sometime in 2024.

A source explained that Ekta “will be to Vrushabha what Karan Johar was to Baahubali.” For the uninitiated, Karan spearheaded Baahubali‘s Hindi release across the nation.
